Versatile Engineer with 35 years experience as Marine Engineer after qualifying for MOT-Class II (India) in 1979 and DOT–Class I (United Kingdom) in 1984.

14 years – sailed from as 4th Engineer upto Chief Engineer on VLCC (Very Large Crude Carriers) with Wallems Ship Management, Hong Kong; looking after the maintenance of Machineries on board ships (could compare with a small floating city) hundreds of miles from nowhere into the ocean

21 years worked ashore as Chief Executive Engineer with Homa Engineering Serviced Pvt Ltd. Mumbai, and as Director (Technical) with Krasny Marine Services Pvt. Ltd. Mumbai, independently managing the ship Repair division. Guiding a team of Engineers and technicians to undertake Repairs and Maintenance of ships afloat and in dry-dock.

Till date still continuing as Director(Technical) on consultation with Krasny Marine while undertaking Independent Consultancy in Technical solutions to various clients.
